The human neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience lab, directed by Dr. Morris Moscovitch, is part of the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto and of the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Health Centre. Using behavioural, neuropsychological and functional neuroimaging techniques, our lab investigates psychological processes and brain mechanisms implicated in memory, attention, emotion, face recognition, problem-solving and empathy. Our research is meant to advance understanding of the relation of brain to behaviour across the lifespan in healthy people and in people with neurological disorders from brain trauma to dementia.
